Tarantula Z-Carriage Stabilizer
thingiverse
I used these x- and y-axes belt tensioner https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1580899, but I wasn't entirely satisfied with the Z-carriage stability when using the x-axis belt tensioner, so I designed a much stronger carriage. The carriage consists of two parts: front and back plates. A quick note: it's a rather tight fit, so I would recommend printing at 1-2% upscaling if you prefer a slightly looser fit. Print Settings: Printer: Tarantula i3 Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 75% Notes: No supports are needed. Printing with a 1-2% scale increase can result in a more loose fit. After Printing I designed this carriage based on the original Tevo Tarantula Z-carriage.
