Tarantula pro squash feet
thingiverse
I give all credit to Dr. Boo for creating the original squash feet that started it all. I've taken his design and modified it so that the Tevo Tarantula Pro can stand tall with its own custom feet, thanks to the fantastic damping properties of the squash feet. Originally, this setup was mounted on a CR10 frame, but now we're combining the limited damping of the original feet with the massive damping power of the squash feet. The result is a significantly quieter printer that produces prints of exceptional quality from the very first layer, thanks to these incredible feet. Some commenters on Dr. Boo's squash feet expressed concern about the infill percentage being too low, which led to breakage. To address this issue, I've increased the infill percentage to 80% for the upper part where the TTP feet reside, as well as a bit of the cap that covers the squash ball. I opted for two dot squash balls, which are readily available on Aliexpress and make it incredibly easy to get started with this project.
