Tarantula pro squash feet
thingiverse
The original squash feet hail from dr Boo, who deserves all the credit. I reworked them to ensure the Tevo Tarantula Pro could proudly stand on its own two feet with the help of the heavy-duty squash feet. Initially, the original setup was mounted on a cr10 frame. By combining the limited damping of the original feet with the massive damping of the squash feet, the printer has become significantly quieter. What's more, at least the initial prints exhibit remarkably better quality since the feet were installed. In the comments section on drBoo's squash feet page, someone suggested that they broke due to a low infill grade. To address this issue, I set the infill level to 80% for the upper portion where the TTP feet reside, plus a bit of the cap covering the squash ball. Two dot squash balls were used in this project; these are easily sourced from Aliexpress.
