Tarantula MKS Base Offset Mount
thingiverse
This is an offset mount designed specifically for the Tevo Tarantula, allowing users to move the MKS controller to the right and out in front of the X axis motor.\nMoving the MKS to the side makes room for a sturdy diagonal brace that supports the right Z axis.\nTips for Tarantula owners:\nTo get this mount to fit perfectly, I disassembled the MKS perspex control box case from the back and inserted all the board-support screws. I also removed the split washers from the M4 bolts originally holding the case to the Z axis to achieve enough length to make them fit through two layers of perspex, the mount, and into the t-nuts.\nPrint Settings:\nPrinter: Tevo Tarantula\nRafts: No\nSupports: Yes\nResolution: 0.3\nInfill: 20% Honeycomb\nNotes: You can print this however you like, but I use these settings for a quick and strong result since it's not load-bearing or a moving part.\nI printed the mount with the Z-frame face down and the MKS mount up to match my other printer braces. Alternatively, consider printing it on its side, but be aware that large amounts of support may alter print quality.\
