18650 battery cover for FRSKY Taranis X9D Plus (2019) PRINTING: in order to avoid supports put it on narrow bottom side (latches up) FRSKY Taranis X9D Plus (2019) is a great radio, but its battery compartment isn't big enough for twin 18650 pack. So I have drafted a new cover, which clicks in tightly enough for a field radio. Using this cover now one can get (or DIY), and plug into X9D+, a 18650 pack of any desired capacity. Your battery pack should have at least a standard balance charging 2s connector (JST-XH 3 pin connector). And the X9D+ can balance charge it via USB!
