This is a custom mount for the Taranis X9D shell, designed specifically for the SMA Pigtail/bulkhead connector mod. After breaking the original antenna, I opted to install this mod to upgrade my drone's performance. The mount clips seamlessly into place within the shell, and the antenna must be threaded through and soldered once the mount is securely in position. Subsequently, the top cap is placed over the bulkhead connector and mount. To ensure a strong bond, superglue or Cyano can be applied to glue the bulkhead connector into the mount, as well as to secure the mount cap in place. After setting, this mod forms a remarkably rigid and durable mount.
