Taranis thumb hoops are designed to help you maintain a secure grip on your sticks, even during intense flying sessions. The inner diameter of each hoop is precisely crafted at 25mm, ensuring a snug fit that keeps your thumbs firmly in place. If you require a different size, simply let me know and I'll be happy to accommodate your needs. The hoops seamlessly press-fit onto the stock Taranis stick ends, eliminating any need for tedious modifications or adjustments. To install them, simply unscrew the existing stick end, position it upright on a hard surface, and gently press the hoop down onto the stick end. Once secured, screw the stick end back into place. You can see one of these hoops expertly fitted in the accompanying pictures. The rounded inner edges provide unparalleled comfort, reducing fatigue and strain during extended flying sessions. During printing, I employed a technique where the hoop portion rests flat on the build surface, minimizing the need for extensive support structures. As a result, only minimal supports touch the build plate, ensuring a smooth and efficient printing process.
