Taranis third gimbal joystick enclosure
thingiverse
This box securely stores a PSP2000 sliding joystick. It will help add a third gimbal to my Taranis radio, giving me precise control over camera pan and tilt functions. Conveniently located on the back, this new component is easily accessible with my left index finger. The X-axis (camera pan) will be connected directly to the S3 potentiometer that's available in my Taranis radio, even though it's not a stock component - I just need to find an existing connector. The Y-axis (camera tilt) will be wired together in series with one of my existing pots. Since the LS pot seems like a likely choice for this setup, its values will now double as trim settings because both the joystick and LS pot will impact tilt levels. Eventually, once this modification is complete, I plan to create a wiring diagram to simplify future installation processes.
