I designed a custom battery holder for my Frsky Taranis QX7 remote control system. The original setup didn't include a battery holder, only an AA battery case. I purchased a 1300mAh 2S Lipo pack from HobbyKing (https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-nano-tech-1300mah-2s1p-20-40c-lipo-receiver-pack.html) to use in my system. To connect the lipo pack to the radio, I used the radio's balancing connector. Alternatively, I cut the servo connector cables and inserted a JST-XH balancer connector (https://bit.ly/3w2ZV8k). This way, I can charge the lipo without having to disconnect it each time and request the radio's PCB. The battery holder is designed specifically for the 1300mAh 2S Lipo pack. It provides a secure connection to the radio's balancing connector or the JST-XH balancer connector, ensuring reliable power delivery to my remote control system.
