These gimbal rings can be easily installed without any extra parts. Simply open up your radio and remove the screws that hold the gimbal in place. Take out the old rings and replace them with the new ones. That's it, you're all set. The main reason I designed these custom gimbal rings was to give users more room to pinch when using their fingers. Plus, they look pretty slick. One of the key features of these rings is a notch that locks into place on the upper shell from the inside. This ensures that the ring doesn't spin around in your hand.
