Taranis QX7 18650 LiIon battery tray
thingiverse
I currently utilize a customized battery tray for my Taranis QX7, which doesn't require any resoldering of components on the Taranis board itself. To create this tray, I employ some 0.5mm metal sheets and solder a spring in place along with a substantial blob of tin to facilitate battery connection. There's a small tunnel located through the middle bridge for securing the balance lead. The XT60 connector can be safely housed within a tiny compartment situated on the tray itself. A Sketchup file is included, allowing users to freely modify and customize the design as needed.
