The Taranis Q X7 demands a smaller diameter gimbal guard than its popular partner, the X9D. Unlike some other gimbal guards, these are not designed to be a substitute for a transmitter case as that would still leave your switches vulnerable. Instead, they safeguard gimbals from crushing within the transmitter case, preserve your transmitter case and foam by preventing sharp sticks from rubbing, and maintain a neutral stick position during transport to preserve gimbal springs. V2 is ideal for a Taranis with stock gimbals while V1 fits both stock and upgraded M7 hall gimbals. If you're looking for an easy remix, simply make a copy of my public Onshape document.
