Taranis Q X7 M9 Gimbal fit

UPDATE 14-03-2020: Added a race top plate (M7 Gimbel race.stl) designed specifically for reducing stick travel to the maximum position, just like FrSky's race gimbals. This new addition ensures that the stick reaches maximum throttle sooner without requiring excessive finger movement. UPDATE 4-6-2017: A new ring has been added, carefully crafted to follow the shape of the case more accurately. This project aims to provide a customized implementation for the M9 gimbal to fit seamlessly into the Taranis Q X7. The design is based on the innovative work of Teramax. To print the left ring successfully, users must mirror it 180 degrees left-right in their slicer software. One key difference between this design and others lies in its curved edges and an alternative ring that offers variable height. This thoughtful design allows for easier finger movement without obstructing them excessively. The gimbals have been positioned identically to those found in the Taranis 9D, which means all directions are reversed. However, users can easily rectify this issue by adjusting their input settings in Open TX. Alternatively, rotating the gimbals 180 degrees is also a viable option, but it may require minor plastic removal from the module bay.
