Taranis Q X7 LiPo Battery Tray

I swapped out the AA Battery tray that comes with the base of my QX7 for a 2S LiPo specifically designed for the Taranis. The new battery kept shifting around inside its compartment, so I came up with a quick fix in TinkerCAD and printed it out. You can see from the pictures that I also added an extension lead to make inserting and removing the battery a breeze, repurposing the connector from the original AA tray. Without the extension, it's a real hassle to get the battery in and out of its compartment. The custom tray fits perfectly into my radio and the battery has a snug fit into its new home, making everything look much neater than stuffing foam into the battery compartment. I bought the LiPo battery online from Aloft Hobbies. I hope this solution helps other QX7 owners who are looking for a better way to manage their batteries. Enjoy!
