Taranis Patch Antenna Mount

Taranis Patch Antenna Mount

Hey there, fellow drone enthusiasts! I'm thrilled to share my fix for a broken Taranis whip antenna - a quick hack that saved the day. I scavenged a 2.4GHz WiFi antenna from around the house and soldered it onto the board, out through the top. If you've found yourself in a similar situation, take heart! This WiFi antenna can be a reliable backup option. I'm stoked to report that this dipole patch antenna performed admirably during flight tests. Its sturdy design withstood the rigors of aerial exploration without faltering. As for printing details, I opted for 3D Ink TPU, orienting it flatside down for added stability.
