I experienced issues with the gimbals getting damaged when the transmitter was stored in its bag. Print with the top facing downwards on the build plate, and no supports will be required. The hole is 10mm deep, and 32mm long, to accommodate after-market gimbal stick extensions that can be easily installed later. Just print two of them, and before storing the transmitter, slide them onto the sticks for added protection and convenience.
