Taranis DragonLink V3 Cradle Mount
thingiverse
Remix of one part of IdefixRC's DragonLink V3 Advance mount (which in turn was a remix of Jason-wratten's EzUFHF TX holder) is presented here. The cradle that holds the DragonLinkV3 main module/box has been remixed, replacing the original design that attached to a JR Module via GoPro connectors with a piece that "snaps" onto the metal grip/rod found at the top rear of the Taranis QX-7 and X9-D as well as many other Transmitters. This new design can easily be snapped on/off when desired, and is also one solid piece that can be stored relatively flat compared to the original bulky design. I discovered that the original JR module bay method required a very good print for each of its many parts, involving a lot of support material which was a pain to remove especially since I prefer to use Taulman Nylon 910. The attached design has easily removable supports in very un-awkward places. Note: For optimum clip on/clip off ease, use largely rigid but slightly flexible materials like Nylon etc (but not so floppy like ninja flex where it'd just flop off). Print at whatever infill you like, depending on the material you use to achieve just the right amount of rigidity. For Nylon 910, I am fine with 95% infill.
