Taranis and other transmitter balance
thingiverse
I recently acquired a second-hand Taranis X9D+ SE and adore it, but I wasn't thrilled about its excessive blue hue. As an engineer by trade, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own custom version. My primary goal was to build a sturdy frame that could withstand heavy use, much like aluminum. To achieve this, I chose a 4mm diameter screw as the ideal fastener. For printing purposes, I highly recommend using PETG, nylon, or ABS due to their exceptional strength. If you encounter any issues with the spacer, please don't hesitate to reach out and I'll be happy to assist you in resolving the problem. I'd love to hear about your experiences with this custom design! To maximize its strength, it's essential to print the model sideways with adequate support.
