Tapping Wrench
thingiverse
To secure hole-tapping bits, this affordable wrench is ideal if you need only a few specific sizes made from high-quality steel. For optimal results, print out the two parts with heavy infill. If possible, create or machine the pinching block from scrap metal; it may not be necessary. Begin by reaming the 8mm hole using a drill bit or tapping it with your bolt. Next, insert your bolt or studding. For added convenience when using studding, drill a hole and attach a handle (e.g., a pin). To complete the process, use the bolt to draw an M8 nut into the captive nut slot. Finally, clamp the wrench onto the square end of a tap and commence thread cutting!
