Tapioca

I decided to create a traditional Brazilian dessert for the #LowPolyDessertChallenge, and my Tapioca is finally ready! Made from cassava starch, this sweet treat is surprisingly simple to prepare. All you need to make it is a sizzling hot frying pan and some basic ingredients - aside from cassava starch, of course. You can customize your tapioca with all sorts of fillings, whether salty or sweet, and my top pick are the loaded ones swimming in TONS of butter! Occasionally I also indulge in the sweet variety topped with fresh fruit like strawberries and banana slices, and a generous drizzle of chocolate. My biggest challenge was keeping the model under 5k tris while hand-painting textures - it's been a while since I've tried this technique and I'm still learning. I hope you all love the result and that someday you'll get to try an authentic Brazilian tapioquinha!
