***2018.01.01 UPDATE *** This design didn't quite hit the mark. Although the original bottles I was working with as the design reference (I wish I could recall what they were) performed perfectly fine, I've found these designs to be utterly unsuitable for nearly every bottle since - sorry landfill, my fault. *** END UPDATE *** This is a compact plastic bottle opener that I designed from scratch in tinkercad: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/3JsPXAfrIHN-tapia-bottle-opener-6mm-v3 My main objective was to create something small, suitable for travel, with minimal plastic usage, and affordable so I could print multiple copies for my travel bag (since it's inevitable that the plastic will give out) and share them with others. I printed a large batch out of PLA at 90% infill and, although I know they'll eventually fail, the first one has been functioning flawlessly after opening 4-8 bottles.
