This is the newly released Tape Scooper to resolve the worst problem. You ever need a piece of tape but your nail can never lift it up from where you last left it? The TapeScoop was made just for you! This design was designed using a CAD program called Autodesk Inventor. The ring-shaped design was made suitable for the size of my classmate's finger’s as well as my own. This being a 0.725 in. diameter for the inner circle of the ring while also creating an outside circle of 0.875 in. so a gap in between two circles could form in order for an extrusion to be made. Once extruded 1 in. up, a sketch was made tangent to the circle which would represent the scooping mechanism in order to lift the tape. A line was sketched tangent to the circle going out, and from the ending point of that line, an arc was made to curve back towards the circle. With this shape of a scooper, the offset feature was used to once again make a gap in between two sketches so a solid piece could be extruded in between the two. With the newly created offset, the scooper sketch was extruded up to match the height of the ring. With the newly made TapeScoop in the CAD program, a fillet was applied around the edges to make the object smooth.
