This is a tapered tenon cutter intended for woodworking. The sizes vary as the file names indicate. Each model has embossed on the side the large and small size of the holes in inches as well as its “included angle” (so a 6.0 degree reamer would have an angle from center of 3.0 degrees). The file name indicates the smaller hole size as well as the angle. These are to be used in conjunction with the Lee Valley Veritas tapered tenon cutter blades that are 2.5” wide. Use of M8 screws for the adjuster holes is suggested, the holes are sized such that they thread snugly in the plastic. An M8 or M10 screw with respective nut and washers can be used to keep the blade fixed to the tenon cutter. The adjuster screws allow the blade to be removed and replaced and quickly set back to the desired angle for use. They also provide a tad of support for keeping the blade located where it needs to be.This is advantageous because with just one blade, you can quickly switch between using different tenon cutters. Going from one cutter to another is quick and easy, making it possible to work with just one blade. That said, more blades will certainly make work even faster.Do not use these with a drill to make long dowels, they will almost certainly fail in some way shape or form. There are commercial cutters that do that job well.As for printing these tenon cutters, I setup the print so the small hole is on the bed of the printer base. These are about 3” tall in that format, and about 2.5” to 3” wide, so most 3D printers can accommodate these cutters easily. The reason for the various diameters is the need for various size tenons for various parts of Windsor chair making, in particular. The legs and arms require different diameters. The reason for the various angles, 6 degree reamers are generally hand made. I got a professionally made reamer and a 6.4 degree angle works best when paired with this reamer. Your reamer may be closer to 6.0 degrees and that tenon cutter may work better. The 2.0 degree reamer is to be paired with a 2 degree reamer commercially available from Stew-Mac. They sell a reamer near perfect for reaming arm chair arm rests specifically.I don’t intend this tool to be a lifelong tool, but maybe if you print a solid infill one, it’ll last a lifetime. Assuming you have a 3D printer, or access to one, this may be a very economical option to buying a premium hand made tenon cutter.
