Tapered Ender 3 Hot End Fix
thingiverse
I had trouble with Luke's hot end fix on my Ender 3 Pro because whenever I tried to get the filament up to the nozzle it seemed to get jammed. I hypothesized that the washer was moving around and not staying concentric with the tubing. Tried a few different washer types and no luck. This design, however, seems to work reliably for me. I've tapered the washer a bit to make sure it stays centered. Note the ID might be a little small and you might need to drill it out a tiny bit. I've printed mine out of PETG for some added heat resistance over PLA. I cut my PTFE tube to approx 28mm. But I don't think the exact length matters - the idea is to make sure there's a small amount of tube extended into the threads on both the fitting and nozzle sides. Then when you screw down the fitting and nozzle it applies some clamping force to the tube in the heat break.
