Recently a devastating fire ravaged Brazil's most prized museum, resulting in the catastrophic loss of over 20 million irreplaceable items. Among these priceless treasures were numerous pterosaurs, including the majestic Tapejara. The museum held a special place in my heart, and I still remember being awestruck by its vast collection of fossils, mummies, indigenous artifacts, meteorites, and imperial relics that sparked my curiosity as a young explorer. To honor this beloved institution, I set out to create a lasting tribute. While browsing the museum's website, I stumbled upon a .wrl file featuring the skull of one of its most prized specimens. Intrigued by its potential for 3D printing, I decided to modify the file to bring it to life in a tangible form. I hope you will cherish this exquisite model as much as I do, and that it will serve as a poignant reminder of the museum's significance and the importance of preserving our shared cultural heritage.
