Seeking to reorganize my backpacking essentials for the upcoming hiking season, I found myself in need of an object to wrap a duct tape around. In accordance with hiker advice, suitable items include water bottles, stove fuel, and trekking poles. Last year, I encountered a situation where I wished to gift my duct tape roll to someone fixing their gear; thus, this time, I decided to wind it around an item that could be easily handed off.
