Tape Switch Angled Rail Mount Rifle Light
thingiverse
I found the stock and traditional mounting options for the tape switch on one of my rifles to be completely off-base and decided to harness the versatility of the monolithic rail to position the pad exactly where my hand rests naturally when shouldering it. This setup worked beautifully for SCAR, ACR and XCR rifles and would likely work just as well for other slab-sided or cheese-grater forends. It fits my Streamlight switch perfectly and you can easily modify it to fit your brand. I've included the Sketchup file so you can do whatever you like with it. I apologize for the subpar photos, but I realize a $9 paint job on a $2K rifle isn't everyone's idea of a good time, but it gives you an idea of how it looks in situ.
