Tape slitting tool tweaked
prusaprinters
I liked the idea of LoboCNC tape slitting tool though not as enthused with the elastic and nut jamming. So I added a inset for a 10mmx 3 mm magnet (to replace the elastic for return) as well as a 5mm thread for a 50mm screw (no nut jamming) in the slide. I also opted out to a knurled end nut to use for the easy micro adjust Now you can adjust easier in both directions.Note the threads are purposely tight to avoid slop. Either use the screw above with a screwdriver to cleanup the threads or a M5 tap. Glue in the magnet. Screw in the screw though the knurled nut. Other than that follow the details from LoboCNC.Now it adjust even better with no rubber band.Last pictures show splitting the tape into a 1mm thin straight strip. Try that with scissors and with no messed up strip!
