This clever tape measure accessory enables you to measure and mark with one hand. A 3D printed pencil holder attaches directly to the tape measure body, and an arrow aligned with the pencil clearly indicates where the mark will land. A GIF shows a tape measure in action. I created this using Tinkercad. An embedded iframe displays the original model on Tinkercad. A large image of the tape measure accessory is shown. This design should work with any tape measure, as long as there's enough clearance between the mounting opening and the arrow.
