Tape Measure Clip Mount
prusaprinters
A simple tape measure mounting clip I made for my FastCap True32 tape measure. It should work with all full-size FastCap tape measures and their derivatives. The backside of the holder's mounting surface is angled to more closely match the resting state of the clip. This was done to limit stress on the clip, hopefully increasing its lifespan. The screw hole is designed for #10 bugle-head screws. I used a some old Buildex BackerOn square-drive screws I had collecting dust on a shelf. Any standard #10 drywall screw, construction screw, or deck screw should work as well. I also added a version that uses a pan head style screw, but I have not tested this. A Kreg pocket-hole screw (#8 SML-C250-50) was used for this layout, so similar screws [max head dimensions: 10mm diameter, 3.5mm depth] should also work. Note: The mounting surface behind the screw is relatively thin, so this may not hold up to significant use. Printed on an AnkerMake M4C-B using Hatchbox GreyBlue PETG. Settings: 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layers, 100% infill, no supports, stock PETG profile, Easy Mode. ** Note: I accidentally left it on 0.2mm…I'll probably use 0.25mm or 0.3mm when I print more.
