I needed a hassle-free way to transport tape at the festival where I volunteer, so I could quickly grab it without worrying about it falling off when climbing a ladder or sprinting around. To solve this problem, I came up with this solution. The clip slides snugly over your belt, while the hook securely holds the tape in place. The side piece is tall enough to prevent the tape from easily slipping out. I tested it with gaff tape and duct tape, and it should fit anything with a 3-inch diameter hole in the middle.
