Tape Glider
thingiverse
I've been experimenting with various gliders on this platform and I'm convinced that most of them share two significant flaws - they're extremely fragile or don't soar very well, which led me to take matters into my own hands by designing one from scratch. The frame was meticulously crafted while a roll of masking tape helped create the wings' surface area as well as the body's exterior. My creation prints rapidly and endures for an extended period before disintegrating. At present, I'm working on a rubber band powered launch pad to further enhance its performance. This adjustment will undoubtedly improve its aerodynamics and overall flight capabilities.
