Tape cutting sleeve for 50mm (2") wide tape rolls. Read reviews of PLA only versions that didn't do a good job a cutting the tape, so designed one with a serrated blade. Material : PLALayer height : 0.20mmSupports : No * *Printed mine with supports for the small round holes, then had trouble cleaning them out. RequirementsOld or new hacksaw blade. Tin snips Drill with ~5mm bit for steelSml zip tie. Steps. Print model in PLA. Trim a new or old (I used old) serrated hacksaw blade to 50mm using tinsnips. Nb. a cutter blade could be used but the interest of safety I used a serrated blade.Insert blade into a print so he blade buts up against the end & side of the channel. Use a permanent marker to mark the hole positions on the blade. Remove the blade and score the drill points with a punch. With a high speed steel bit (~5mm) drill 2 holes where in the marked positions. (I used an old piece of timber and secured the blade with nails)Re-insert the blade into the cutter sleeve and check the hole alignment. Secure with a sml zip tie, ensuring the buckle is on the outside. Enjoy. Ps. If you MAKE it and LIKE it, please POST a make. Thanks.
