Tape Chain Wear indicator

To measure wear, compare two tapes; one rotates with the pocket wheel of the hoist while the other is drawn freely within it. Attached to a chain link with flight attachment, they're compared using a vernier scale. Adjust the "fixed" part when installing new chains with screws. As the chain wears, monitor wear continuously. A color-coded design (green, yellow, red zones) can visually indicate wear levels.
