Tap & Die Hinged Case
thingiverse
I have a hinged case for my small tap & die set that can hold four taps (4, 5, 6, and 8mm), four dies, and the T type tap wrench. This case doesn't include space for the die holder because it's too large to fit in this specific setup, but it's robust enough to be stored separately in a toolbox. The taps & dies are a budget-friendly 10-piece set that I purchased from http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p10128 or http://amzn.eu/alUt886. The base section of the case has built-in support structures for the hinge pins, which need to be cut off before use. The top section prints upside down without supports. Print Settings: Printer: Anycubic Kossel Linear Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm layer height, 0.8mm shell thickness Infill: 20% Notes: I printed this on a heated bed with a brim to prevent warping.
