The Type 97 Chi-Ha was a medium tank employed by Japan's Imperial Army during conflicts, such as the Second Sino-Japanese War, Khalkhin Gol battles against the Soviet Union, and World War II. As the most extensively produced Japanese medium tank of WWII, it featured a 57 mm main gun from the Type 89 medium tank and a six-road-wheel suspension based on the Type 95 Ha-Go light tank. Powered by a 1938 Mitsubishi air-cooled diesel engine delivering 170 hp, the Type 97 was distinguishable by its low silhouette and semicircular turret antenna. Post-1941, it became less effective compared to most Allied tank designs. A revised version, the Type 97-Kai or Shinhoto Chi-Ha, was introduced in 1942 with a larger three-man turret and a high-velocity Type 1 47 mm tank gun. The 3D model is crafted using 3ds Max 2016 and rendered exclusively in Corona, offering multiple rendering options including Corona 1.7, Scanline, and exportable formats like FBX and OBJ with retained materials. Additionally, textures are provided in PNG resolutions of 4096x4096, 2048x2048, and 1024x1024 within the 3ds Max folder. The model includes layers and groups for easy component management. Polygonal Ngons are also utilized in its construction. Note that the background image is not included.
