The Ho-Ni III gun tank was a highly advanced destroyer-tank and self-propelled artillery of the Imperial Japanese Army in World War II. As its predecessor, the Type 1 Ho-Ni I, it offered better protection for the crew by enclosing its entire structure with an armored superstructure. Developed as a replacement for its predecessor models, the Ho-Ni III demonstrated exceptional prowess due to its innovative design.
