The Type 3 Chi-Nu was a Japanese medium tank developed during World War II as a stopgap measure to counter Allied tanks, particularly the American M4 Sherman. Production began in 1944 but raw materials were scarce and Japan's industrial infrastructure had suffered significant damage from US bombing raids. A total of 144-166 units were produced by war's end, making it the final tank fielded by the Imperial Japanese armed forces before their surrender. The 3D model is rendered in Mental Ray using 3ds Max 2016 and includes versions for various rendering options such as Mental Ray 3.13, Scanline Rendering, FBX, and OBJ exports with layers and groups to manage the model's parts easily. However, the background image is not included in the file.
