Gun barrel turret for games and VR/AR with low-poly meshes and normal maps and PBR materials painted in Substance Painter - a ranged weapon designed to shoot projectiles pneumatically, usually solid (most guns) but also liquid (water guns/cannons, projected water disruptors), or even charged particles (plasma gun). They can be free-flying (bullets, artillery shells) or tethered (Taser guns, spearguns, harpoon guns). Various designs of projectile propulsion exist. Traditionally, they are accelerated by high gas pressure contained within the gun barrel, produced through rapid combustion of propellants or mechanical compression. High-pressure gas behind the projectile accelerates it down the tube, imparting enough velocity for further travel to the target once the propelling gas stops acting at the end of the tube. Alternatively, electromagnetic field generation may be used. Guide rails (railguns) or wrapped magnetic coils (coilguns) substitute the shooting tube in such cases.
