Tank Track, Idler wheels, spacers
thingiverse
These tank idler wheels are designed to be used alongside the Tank Track 2in and Idler arms in my things, but will also work seamlessly with other tracks available on Thingiverse as well. They serve as the primary idler rollers that securely hold the Tank Track in place while supporting the weight of the tank. The stubs precisely space them out to maintain a precise distance from the tank side rail. To utilize these components, you'll need 1/4" x 3/8" x 1/8" sealed ball bearings and 1/4" x 1 1/2" shoulder bolts (also known as stripper bolts). By incorporating the idlers at a distance of 1 1/2" center from the side rail, you'll be able to perfectly mount your track. When installing these components, make sure to use four #212 National o-rings per idler wheel, which will help the rollers run more smoothly and quietly on the track. To successfully assemble this part, please refer to the drill guide PDF that is available for download from the worm gear case and idler arms instructions. Additionally, you may find frame rail kits available on eBay if needed. It's worth noting that I have recently uploaded a few more options of idler wheels to choose from in my thing collection. For those interested in cost-saving alternatives, I recommend considering the 2 O-Ring Idler roller or the Blank version with no O-ring grooves.
