The Soviet T-60 scout tank, designed by Nicholas Astrov's team at Moscow Factory No. 37 in 1941, originated from the T-30B prototype. Initially, it was planned to be equipped with a 12.7 mm machine gun but later upgraded to a 20 mm TNSh cannon. However, this weapon proved inadequate against German tanks, leading to an attempt to install a 37 mm ZIS-19 cannon. This plan was abandoned due to ammunition shortage, and a new turret was designed, featuring the gun on its right side with a co-axial machine gun. Ultimately, this project was terminated when the T-70 was chosen as the standard light tank. The 3D model of the T-60 is available for Vray rendering in 3ds Max 2016 and includes native file options for Vray 3.6, Scanline rendering, FBX, and OBJ exports with material support. Textures with resolutions of 4096x4096, 2048x2048, and 1024x1024 are provided in the 3ds Max folder. The model includes layer and group management for easy part manipulation, and polygonal Ngons have been utilized in its construction. Note that the background image is not included.
