The T-40, an amphibious light Soviet tank utilized in WWII, featured a 12.7mm DShK machine gun and could ford rivers without bridges. Primarily designed for reconnaissance units, the land-based T-40S evolved into the T-60, which superseded it due to its affordability, simplicity, better armament, and versatility. The T-40 saw action primarily in Operation Barbarossa and Moscow's defense; post-war, it was used for Soviet training until 1946. Some examples were retrofitted with Katyusha rocket launchers. A 3D model exists, made using 3ds Max 2016 and rendered in Mental Ray, offering various rendering options, export formats, and texture resolutions.
