Tank Sunroof Conversion Bit

I'm really excited to share my first 3D modeling attempt with all of you! I've been a big fan of Da5id's work, especially his tank design, which was actually my very first print. I've got to say, the community here is amazing and I'd like to give back in some way, so I thought I'd try my hand at creating a model for everyone to enjoy. When I started thinking about how my tank dudes could pick up people more easily, a sunroof suddenly popped into my head, and that's when it hit me - why not create one! Now you can all print your own tanks with the added feature of a sunroof! As I worked on this design, I realized it might be a bit too tight for some prints, so I'd love to get your feedback and make any necessary adjustments. The current model is just about right for my printer's settings, but if you have any trouble fitting it onto yours, let me know. Da5id, thanks again for sharing your transport tank design - that was the perfect starting point for me. Last but not least, a huge shoutout to all of you for being part of such an incredible community! If you give this design a try, please don't hesitate to reach out with any feedback or suggestions. I'm always here to listen and learn. Now about my printer settings: I used a Polar 3D to print this at 0.2mm layer thickness. As for tips, just keep an eye out for the hex pattern beneath the model and be sure to use supports - you might even try printing it upside down if that makes it easier. Happy printing!
