These tank track idler wheels go with the 2-inch tank track sprockets and other tank-related items in my collection.\r\nSeveral sizes of idler wheels (1.5", 1.75", 2" and 2.25" OD) are available that will work with single idler wheel suspension arms for the tank suspension. I believe they would be too large to use with double roller arms. These use standard 1/4" x 3/8" x 1/8" sealed ball bearings with shoulder bolts.\r\nWhen I figure out the O-ring sizes, I will list them if you want to use them.\r\nThe mags looked cool. Thanks and enjoy!\r\n\r\nUpdate: Downloaded a mag drive sprocket that uses the standard .770" hub. Also a front idler sprocket and spacers for use with 1/4 x 1-1/2" shoulder bolt. The same bearings are used as the idlers.\r\nUpdate: Downloaded another mag drive sprocket that corrected some mistakes in the back. I am having trouble getting these to run G-code without errors, but they print okay.\r\n\r\nUpdate Dec-2017: Working on a new tank frame and suspension. The new suspension arms have idlers built-in. The idea is for the idler to move up and take up the slack in the track from compression. Building a new tank to test it out. I will share the parts in this listing. All of the same parts as the old suspension can be used. I will list CNC-made frame parts for the new tank on eBay as I get them done.\r\n\r\nUpdate Jan-2018: Downloaded a new 3D printed track tensioner arm for the tanks. This is a 3/4" arm that uses a 1/4" bolt as the shaft, with the bolt hex pressed in the arm to hold it in place. These can be used with the threaded Fastmike brass bushing I have on eBay to go through the frame. A lever with a spring is used to put tension on the tank track like the original tank. This makes everything work much better, and a stiff spring will keep the tension arm from giving in reverse. Track tension is essential, but too much greatly increases drag. The tension arm uses 1/4"" x 1" shoulder bolt for the idler sprocket.\r\n\r\nUpdate Feb 2018: Had trouble printing the 2.25" idler wheels in ABS. They took too long to print and cooling warped them badly. Downloaded a lighter, quicker hollow version of the 2.25" idler that prints better and has a support ring and tabs underneath that come off after building. These will print without support and save print time. I have not had a chance to test these yet, but the design should hold up just as well.
