Introduced in May '42, the G variant of Pz. IV paved way for the H variant produced from April '43, which became the most mass-produced version. Ausf. H featured a single 80-mm front glacis plate, upgraded gun of Ausf. G, and side screens on hull and turret sides. A total of 3,774 Ausf. H tanks were built. This tank is similar to a long-range M4 Sherman with excellent accuracy, good gun depression, vision, and rate of fire. Despite not being as fast as Pz.Kpfw. III/IV, it's still mobile like the M4 and has superior options for guns. An interesting fact: pre-patch 8.0 PZ IV was one of the first tanks modeled in the game. The Ausf. H leads to VK 36.01 (H) and VK 30.01 (P).
