The Object 279, a heavy Soviet tank developed in 1956, was crafted at Leningrad's Kirov Plant under engineer L. Troyanov's leadership. Completed by end-1959, this unique tank boasted improved off-road capabilities due to its four-track running gear and hydro-pneumatic suspension system. Weighing 60 metric tons, it was propelled by a 1,000 hp 2DG-8M diesel engine, reaching speeds of 55 km/h with a range of 300 km on one refuel. The tank also featured auto fire-fighting systems, smoke laying equipment, and heating/cooling in the combat compartment. The 3d model is available in multiple formats, including Vray Next 4.02 for 3ds Max 2016, FBX and OBJ presets from 3ds Max 2016, and Scanline for 3ds Max versions.
