tank body
thingiverse
I am currently modifying my DIY robot project, LoStank. I removed the rear bar and drilled a hole for a long M3 bolt, which will hold up the battery. The picture shows the initial version of the modification, with a larger hole at the back that needs to be adjusted and the motor area untouched. I also designed new code for using stepper motors in conjunction with DRV8825 drivers (which should work seamlessly with A4988 drivers) and an IR remote control, similar to those used on TVs. This updated code can be found on my GitHub repository at https://github.com/drunkscientist/LoStank. The battery holder I'm utilizing is available on Thingiverse under the ID 2105530. In the near future, I intend to add a bumpstop mechanism to the front of LoStank for improved collision detection.
