Tango 2 "Mantis Shrimp" FPV watch holder
thingiverse
New File Finished! This is my Mantis Shrimp design for the Tango 2. It keeps a FPV watch safely positioned below the controller as the gimbals would collide with it if placed in the middle. The center of gravity was adjusted accordingly. A fold-up lanyard clip allows you to flip the watch up, protecting the screen during transport (the bottom of the watch clicks into place at the tail for use). The tail will swing down over your power button and be out of the way while it's in your pocket. Print this design with 100% TPU material using support. I also added a M4x8 chamfer with a 2mm hex. Version 3 is the latest, it stands taller and further back to prevent thumbs from hitting the screen during inverted yaw spins. There are two versions available. The standard one is positioned lower down for users without folding gimbals (the screen remains flat). Version 3 PRO is designed for folding gimbals, featuring a raised mount that accommodates them (I added a tail storer as well, but this feature has not been tested). You can use this design in two ways. With the screen positioned right behind the Antenna (not recommended for optimal range), it will have a front-heavy balance point. If you pivot it around 180 degrees, you'll have the second position where the screen is below the remote. To store it, I recommend rotating it 180 degrees from the bottom to the top orientation and then folding down the tail using the screen's recess as a pin (Pro gimbals under the screen).
