I used a Sun Symbol from Disney's Tangled to design an everyday coaster from scratch. Overview and Background Tangled Coaster Lesson Plan and Activity Steps to Print: Save your 3D model in STL format first. Next, go to one of the designated computers that connect to 3D printers. Open your STL file in Cura 3D there, scale the model to the right size and rotate it so it touches the build plate. Use Layer view with the scroll bar to see how the model will be printed layer by layer. This flat-based model does not need the "Enable Support" option enabled. Make sure all options are fine; Layer height is 0.25 mm Shell thickness is 0.4 mm for extra resilience Print speed is 40, slower means more precise PLA filament temperature is 210° C Adhesion type is brim Cut off the object's bottom part File > Save > G-Code now. Prepare the build plate by applying stick glue to it. Open G Code and make sure the printer is pre-heated; then click PRINT and connect to the printer.
