This is a combination tool that serves for TAMV (Tool Alignment with Machine Vision) and ZTATP (Z Tool Align with Touch Plate) tool alignment.There are two models. One for the LM8UU linear bearings and the other for the longer LM8LUU linear bearings.Both versions share the same base, mag_filler, and landing pad parts.The Knob sensor uses an 8mm aluminum rod with a 3mm hole in the center drilled out to 3.3mm and M4 tapped at both ends. This needs to be sanded down .05mm with 400 grit sandpaper. Locate the Z endstop, without a tool loaded, above the microscope portion approximately 50mm above.
